Dartmouth & Coast Guard Ship

Edward Cornwallis - Canadian Coast Guard ShipLovely gentle walk today along the Dartmouth waterfront.  The Canadian Coast Guard has a station here in Dartmouth and it is not unusual to see one of their ships docked.  Today the Edward Cornwallis was in port. The Coast Guard lists this ship as a high endurance multi-tasked ship at 83 m.

painted rock, DartmouthFarther along the path a gentle face looks up from the woods. Generally I’m not one for graffiti, but I confess to a liking for the painted rocks found from time to time along the paths and roads in Nova Scotia.

We didn’t see any sailing ships today except on the painted power boxes.
