Waves and salt in the air

Last weekend the weather was warm and windy – a perfect day for the beach.  I love walking on the beach… so…another walk at Lawrencetown Beach Provincial Park.  The sea was a froth of foam and salt was in the air – you could see it wafting above the shore and inland. (Later when I left the beach, my hands and face were sticky from the salt spray).

Shore birds (some kind of sandpiper?) were out in force, darting up and down the shore following the waves searching for food.

Days such as this are invigorating.
